The Best AI Social Media Tools for Home Service Businesses in 2026

By TradeFlow Editorial Team · Published 2026-10-03

Most "best social media tool" lists are written by one of the tools on the list, and this one is no exception: we make runtradeflow.com. So here is how we kept it useful. Every price and feature below comes from each company's own website, checked on October 3, 2026. We say plainly where a competitor is the better pick. And the list is sorted by the job you need done, not by who wrote it.

If you run an HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping, painting or garage door company, or you manage social media for a few of them, this is the short version of a week of tool trials.

What a home service company actually needs from a social tool

A tool built for a sneaker brand's marketing team solves the wrong problem for a contractor. Five things matter more than anything on a generic feature grid:

  • Posts built from your real business. Your services, your service area, your logo and colors, and ideally your own job photos. A post that would work for any company in any town isn't worth publishing.
  • Google Business Profile publishing. For local trades, the profile that shows up for "AC repair near me" is often worth more than Instagram. Not every tool posts there.
  • An approval step. Nothing should go out under your name that you haven't seen.
  • A price that beats the alternative. Done-for-you services for contractors run about $399 to $549 a month. Software should cost a fraction of that.
  • A trial you can run on your own website. The only real test is the first month a tool builds for your company.

Quick picks

  • One company that wants a finished month from its website: runtradeflow.com, Apaya, Marky or BuilderBase. We're biased toward the first; details below.
  • Agencies that need white-label client approval: Apaya Supernova or Marky Pro.
  • Crews that already document jobs in CompanyCam: BuilderBase.
  • The most AI posts per dollar: Presly.
  • You'll write your own posts and just need a scheduler: Buffer.
  • You don't want to touch it at all: a done-for-you service such as Tradesly Social.

1. runtradeflow.com

What it does. Paste your website. runtradeflow.com builds a brand kit from it (services, colors, logo, service area, voice), then one click plans a month of posts with a branded graphic and a caption written for your trade, your services and the season. You edit or regenerate anything, approve what you want, and approved posts publish to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile. A CSV export covers any other scheduler.

Price. Solo is $79 a month for one brand and 40 AI images a month. Multi is $199 for 5 brands and Agency is $399 for 15, with extra brands at $25 each.

Trial. 7 days, no card.

Where it falls short. It publishes to four platforms only, so no TikTok, X, Threads, YouTube or Pinterest. It doesn't report engagement analytics or include a social inbox. And agency clients don't get their own approval logins; you approve on their behalf.

2. Apaya

What it does. AI social media management that writes captions, designs graphics, schedules, publishes and reports. It builds a brand profile from your website and has contractor pages for HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical and other trades, with job-photo and before-and-after features. It posts to ten platforms, including Google Business Profile, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and Bluesky.

Price. Spark is $69 a month ($55 billed annually) for one brand and four social accounts. Blaze is $129 ($103 annually) and adds every account, team collaboration, analytics and blog posts. Supernova is $229 ($183 annually) and adds a white-labeled platform. Extra brands cost $59 on Spark and Blaze and $89 on Supernova.

Trial. 3 days, "$0 today."

The better pick when you want more platforms, built-in analytics, blog posts from the same tool, or a white-labeled approval screen for clients.

3. Marky

What it does. Enter your website and Marky learns your voice and style, then makes posts with AI images, templates, carousels and animated posts. It has home services pages and posts to seven platforms, including Google Business Profile.

Price. Solo is $39 a month ($19 billed annually) for one workspace and three channels. Growth is $79 ($39 annually) and adds reputation management. Pro is $229 ($114 annually) and adds a white-label portal and approval workflow. Extra workspaces (brands) are $25 a month on Growth and Pro.

Trial. Free posts with no card; the exact terms differ between Marky's pricing page and homepage, so check before you sign up.

The better pick when you want the lowest annual price for a single brand, or review management bundled in.

4. Presly

What it does. An AI scheduler for local businesses that scans your website (including brand colors), then writes posts, generates images and publishes to ten platforms, Google Business Profile included.

Price. Credit-based, where one finished post costs five credits. Starter is $39 a month for about 50 posts, Growth $79 for about 160, Pro $159 for about 400 across three workspaces, and Agency $499 for about 1,600 across 40 workspaces. Annual billing is cheaper.

Trial. 7 days, card required.

The better pick when you want the most posts per dollar and don't need a formal approval workflow, which Presly doesn't list on any plan.

5. BuilderBase

What it does. A social media platform built for contractors. It pulls job photos from CompanyCam, Google Drive and Dropbox and drafts posts from them, posts to Google Business Profile, and adds review requests and local rank tracking.

Price. Standard is $29 a month (5 channels, 30 AI images), Team $39 (approval chains), Pro $49 and Ultimate $99.

Trial. 7 days, no card.

The better pick when your crews already shoot every job in CompanyCam, or you want rank tracking in the same tool.

6. Buffer

What it does. A straightforward scheduler. You bring the posts; a text AI assistant helps you write and rework them. It supports Google Business Profile.

Price. A free plan covers three channels. Paid plans are priced per channel, roughly $5 to $6 a channel a month for Essentials depending on billing, and about double that for Team, which adds approvals.

The better pick when you already have photos and captions and just want a cheap, dependable calendar.

7. Hootsuite and Later

Both are built for marketing teams. Hootsuite Standard is $99 per user a month billed annually, with AI posts and images, but content approvals start on the $399 Advanced plan, and Google Business Profile connects through an add-on app. Later starts at $18.75 a month billed annually, but its help center lists Google Business Profile as unsupported, which rules it out for most local trades.

8. Done-for-you: Tradesly Social

If you'd rather nobody at your company touches social media, a done-for-you service is the honest alternative to software. Tradesly Social charges $399 a month for two posts a week and $549 for five, plus an optional $349 setup, and you approve every post before it goes live. At two posts a week that works out to roughly $45 to $50 a post.

How to choose

  • One company, and you want the month built for you: shortlist two of runtradeflow.com, Apaya, Marky and BuilderBase, run both free trials on your own website the same week, and keep whichever first month you'd actually publish.
  • Several brands: price per brand decides it. At 15 brands, runtradeflow.com Agency is $399 a month. Apaya Supernova is about $1,429 a month billed annually ($183 plus 14 extra brands at $89). Presly Agency is $399 to $499 for up to 40 workspaces but lists no approval workflow.
  • You already create content: Buffer.
  • You never want to think about it: done-for-you.

Whatever you pick, judge it on the first month it builds for your company, not the demo. Generic posts are the failure mode for every tool on this list, including ours. Our guide to how often a contractor should post covers the cadence to hold any of them to.

How we checked

Prices, plans and features come from each company's own pricing and product pages, read on October 3, 2026. Where a company's own pages disagree, we've said so or left the detail out. Prices change; check the vendor's site before you buy. If we got something wrong, email hello@runtradeflow.com and we'll correct it.

FAQ: AI social media tools for home service businesses

What is the best AI social media tool for an HVAC company? For a single HVAC company that wants a month of branded posts built from its own website, runtradeflow.com, Apaya, Marky and BuilderBase all do the job in different ways. The deciding factors are which platforms you need, whether you want analytics in the same tool, and what the first month looks like when you trial it on your own site.

Do AI social media tools post to Google Business Profile? Most AI-first tools here do: runtradeflow.com, Apaya, Marky, Presly and BuilderBase. Buffer supports it too. Later lists it as unsupported, and Hootsuite connects it through an app.

How much should a contractor pay for social media? Software that builds and schedules posts for one company runs about $29 to $159 a month on the plans above. Done-for-you services for contractors run about $399 to $549 a month.

Will AI-made posts hurt my page? Generic ones will, whoever writes them. Posts built from your own services, service area and job photos, and approved by someone who knows the business, read like your company because they are about your company.
